car quits when i stop.

My car shuts off when I stop at the stop signs, red lights, etc. It makes a chugging noise first and then quits. There is no problem with it starting right back up.

Check the air intake system for the snorkel tube being off to the throttle body, clean air horn, check system for loud hissing sounds indicating vaccumm leaks, if the CEL is on have the car scanned for possible codes, and a starting point for diagnoses.
