2001 Mercury Marquis Repair Question

Mercury Marquis Gas Problem

The car is in park at idle run's fine give it some gas and it run's rough give it a bit more gas and it smooth's out like a dead spot in the throttle same when driving

Check for vacuum leaks and check for tune up

Same thing is happening to my 1995 Grand Marquis with 242.000 and I just had a tune-up. I will look for vacuum leaks and in fact considered this as a problem. Might it also be a problem with a blocked air intake or a blocked fuel injector?

Actually, the roughness happens at idle and smooths out with higher revs, which is a little different from JoLiFaEm's problem.
