I have an Infiniti I30 and having problem with power steering. When it's cold in the mornings it hard to turn steering wheel and makes a whining noise when I turn to far left or right.

"Morning sickness". That's when internal leakage is taking place inside the rack and pinion assembly. This is a REAL big problem with GM cars but it can happen to any car. The clue is it will get better as the power steering fluid warms up. That makes the seals expand and seal better. The only fix is to replace the rack and pinion assembly and have the front end realigned.
