Hyundai Elantra Alternator Problem

I have an altenator that was tested at idle at 65 amps. Is this weak or simply not under a load to increase the amps?

I don't know what you are doing to get that kind of output but you shouldn't be testing an alternator that way. It will burn out in a heartbeat when you max it out like that.
