2001 Fiat Seicento Repair Question

My brakes are spongy
My car keeps failing mot x2 because of this problem new rear shoes new brake pipes new wheel cylinders changed master cylinder bled brakes pedal rock hard when car not running soon as turn engine on brakes go spongy thinking of scrapping it as bought it for wife but all this hassle and money spent has reduced my wife to tears can you help as cannot keep spending money

you either have a couple of things here. Your master cylinder is bad or you have air in teh system. Bleeding the brakes should take care of that. if you can't do it your self go on the site here under diy and look under bleeding brakes it will tell you how to do it.
