Using oil
I have a 2001 fiat punto h.g.t 1.8 16 valve on 66,000 miles. I only got it last week and already put 4 lts of oil in and done about 1000 miles. It's not leaking or smoking. No oil in water either. I have no lose of power either. Been told head gasket but it runs fine and temperature is normal. Can anyone pls give me some advice as I don't know if I should sell it quickly b4 it goes bang!!! Check the engine compression to verify if its a valve or ring problem that's causing it to lose oil-I assumed no external leak

No leak at all. Engine is also clean. Thanks 4 ur help think it's a garage trip. Only problem it hurts the pocket. Warren
