Turned vehicle off at daughters house would not start again, fuel gauge was not registering when ignition was in on position, possibly other gauges as well, towed car home and went through relays and fuses, found a couple burnt fuses but seem to have nothing to do with problem, changed fuel pump and still nothing, we have been having to wiggle the ignition for a few years to get it to turn to the on position, would this have any bearing? Looking at the computer next but don't want to change a buncha good parts, thanks for this site. Jb

The ignition switch may be your problem and it may have made the security system lock you out. So try resetting security system. See pic otherwise have it scanned for codes.

Yeah I think they tried resetting the security system, and we bought a car reader, that came back with some codes related to the fuel pump, hence the pump exchange, but the ignition, you gotta wiggle the hell out of it sometimes so it needs to be replaced anyway, thanks again and if we don't have any luck you will probably be hearing from us again.
