2001 Chevrolet Malibu Repair Question

Code p0404 car wont go
Car will not go it takes forever to get passed 20 mph and ive tried changing postiion senosr the mass air flow sensor the egr valve cleaned the thhroddle body and carbarator cleaner and still doing the same thing it just doesnt want to go it seems liek u have to barely press the gas to do anything

So only code in the computer is a P0404?Have you checked the car for a plugged cat?

i put two gallons of laxifer iin it to clean out but still same thign the engine light is off now but still not wanting to get up adn go unless u mash the gas and use all the gas!

Laxifer never heard of it 2 gallons sounds like way too much what ever that stuff is.So you used it on the egr valve or the intake?Also without the egr valve on did you start the engine and see if the rpms raced and if you heard a loud exhaust leak?
