What can cause the front brakes to shake other than rotors or pads?

I've changed both the pads and I put in two different sets of rotors and neither has stopped the front end of the car from shaking when braking above 35mph. Could this be a problem with some other component? I also have a broken ABS sensor wire on the left side; could that be causing the issue?

ABS light on? Check lower control arm rear bushings for play.

Make sure tires are round and balanced and good tread. Worn tires can do strange things.

Check to see if the bearing hub flange is clean. Check wheel bearing hub for run out. Run car in drive and with the wheel off drive wheels off the ground watch the rotor and see if its has a lot of side to side movement. The rotor is only as true as the hub its mounted on.
