Where is the temperature sensor located on a 2001 chevy astro?

the one for the gaugae is located in the left cylinder head towards the rear. the onefor the computer is locatednear the EGR valve.

If you have the V6-4.3L engine, the temp sensor is located on the driver's side cylinder head. right beneath the valve cover and letters that read "V 6 VORTEC".
