2000 Toyota Celica Transmission

The transmission is not fully engaging in sixth year but all other gears work fine sixth works sometimes as long as you don't push the excelerator then kicks out if you push excelerator to much please help

Have the linkage checked but problem is probably inside shiftin mechanism inside transmission.

Is there a book on this transmission because I'm at a loss I haven't been able to find one

Well our manual says that that year only has a 5 speed not a 6 so you'll have to either find out where the trans came from or what kind it is to get a book for it.

The car is a 2000 toyota celica gts with the 2zz motor with 6 speed trans the c60 trans

Our manual only lists a c56 for that year I checked all the way to 2005 and it still only lists a c56 no c60 is this car in US? If not that may be why
