1994 Toyota Celica won't shift into gear

Transmission problem
1994 Toyota Celica 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my car wouldn't shift out of park so I checked the trasission fluid and was low so I added fluid and it still won't go into gear. Do you know what the problem is?

Check the brake switch if okay-have the shift interlock system checked out-could be the shift lock control solenoid.

I had my foot on the break so don't think that's it but when I push the button on the automatic shifter I can hear a clicking noise in the ignition.

The shift interlock computer gets it power thru the brake switch-get the system checked out then comeback if more help needed.
