2000 Pontiac Grand Prix Repair Question

I have changed the thermostat and heating sensor on my 3.1 gran prix.both hoses are hot when i have the car running.i turn on the ac and the fan comes on,but when i turn on the heater the temperature starts to go up.

Changed thermostat,heating sensor and replaced the antifreeze.AC works but when I turn on the heater it starts to overheat.AC fan turns on and both hoses are hot.

the radiator may be clogged.
did it overheat prior to this repair?? if it did, get a leak down test to verify the head gaskets are ok.

How can I check the radiator?

you can do a temp check from one side to the other but i reccomend you take it to a radiator shop and they will remove it and acid flush it out.
