00 oldsmobile bravada hard to start, has a nervous idle? We checked the fuel pressure, when you turn the key on it builds to close to 60. When the pump kicks off(key still on) the pressure will drop gradually to around 5psi. Is it supposed to do this? I was thinking that once it built the pressure needed to start/run it should hold the pressure. We were thinkin fuel pressure regulator but not sure. Could it be the fuel injector/spider assembly? When it does start there is not any black smoke out the tailpipe like its flooded which leads me to believe that its not the injectors.

Could be the injector/s, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump check valve leaking-it shouldn't drop that fast-the pressure is leaking somewhere
