I have a 2000 Ford Windstar LX Sport that will not start. The first sign of of problem was an occasional miss on heavy acceleration. Then it would start rough, die then restart fine. after a week or two it would occasionally spin over fine but not start.

Then it would start rough, die then restart fine. after a week or two it would occasionally spin over fine but not start. After several attempts it would either start and run fine or start rough, die then restart fine. Now it just doesn't start. I think it may be the camshaft position sensor. Does this sound likely?
