How can I make a diagnostic without a diagnostic tool when the check engine light come up to a 2000 ford focus

That's pretty simple. You don't. You can't get codes without a code reader.

If the problem is the ect but the check engine light doesn't come up should I go to the autozone to make a diagnostic

The ECT won't always set a code when it goes bad. You would need a scan tool to look at the data and see what the temp reading is before starting it.
