By the way this is a vin Z Engine. (Bi fuel) The timing belt tentioner was shot and I replaced it and it fired up and ideled fine. Problem was under load it would hesitate, etc. So I saw it was out a tooth or so and tried adjusting that and now when I hit the key, it's won't crank! It was lined up top dead center on #1 and the cam slots were locked. (#4 piston in overlap with lobes facing in!). Don't understand why it won't at least crank now. Seems like a short or something but I didn't do anything to the wiring! Any ideas?

If you replaced the tensioner instead of tensioner and belt that may be the problem unless it's electrical. Also the cam gears must be loosened in order to set the tensioner properly. So replace the belt as well. For starter check fuse 40 and starter relay in battery junction box.

Thanks so much for the information. How can I tell if the starter relay is bad?
