Hello my name is Ed. I have a 2000 Chrysler Sebring LXi 6cyl.. The check engine light came on and I checked code which was Code P0300. Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected. I would like to know what I should do first and if I am to do this by myself. Or do you recommend that I take it to someone.

Car was bought less than a year ago and has 106,684miles on it. The car does not run rough or anything. If light didn't come on you would never know anything was wrong with it. Don't know if plugs were ever changed. Have no history other than oil changes. Figured you might need little more info. If need more let me know. Thxs

Check for vacuum leaks first spray choke cleaer around intake an dthrottle body to see if it gets sucked in. Check fuel pressure it should be 47-50 at idle. If below that it can cause misfire. Also ignition problems like no or weak spark.
