I think I have a leak or a small hole in my gas tank. Can this be fixed and how much would this cost?

If I fill it up with gas you can smell it really bad and I noticed a small puddle leaked on my blacktop. If I only fill it 1/4 of the way full it does not do this but I noticed I am uing way more gas.

You would need to check where the leak is coming from. It could be from the seals of the fuel pump housing, hoses etc and definitely something can be done about it. The only thing we can't say would be the cost as you might even need to replace teh fuel tank.

You will have to find the leak before you worry about fixing it. Can you see where its dripping from?
