There appears to be something holding it near the arm rest. There is no indication of any screw holes. I do not want to break anything. I have had this off once on 2004, but I am 71 years old now. I just canot remember details. Please help

Try this:

Removal & Installation (LeSabre)
Insert screwdriver behind front edge of inside door handle bezel and gently remove bezel. Look down into bezel opening in door trim panel. If a spring clip is visible, trim panel is late production. Use Spring Clip Remover (J38778) to release fastener at top of shark fin. Lift upward to remove, disconnect wire harness connector for tweeter.
Remove door light or reflector and remove fastener in opening. On late production, using a thin flat-blade tool, pry forward edge of woodgrain panel away from door trim panel. Remove screw behind panel. On all models, release door panel retainers with Clip Zip Tool (J36796) and disconnect door panel wiring harness. Remove door panel.
To install, reverse removal procedure.

I don't know if the diagram will help or not? I know what you mean about remembering, I'll be 65 in a couple of months. I was trying to take an old computer apart. I had done it before in the past, just couldn't remember at the moment? It finally dawned on me, I just shook my head and went on. Lol

Youll need a doorpanal tool. Remove the 2 screws behind the pull handle. Then remove the switch plate and any screws holding the armrest on.U may have to remove lights and remove hidden screws remove the screw behind the inside handle and any screw you see then use the tool pry it off.
