When you report that it takes a few days to start again, do you mean it runs for a few days and then it starts to give you problems? Maybe the sending unit is not relaying accurate information. It could be the tank is empty, not a quarter full. The car with a full tank should go 300+ miles. I would see if there is enough fuel for the pump to pick up in the tank, pull up the rear seat bottom and unscrew the big plastic ring on the right side of the car to see if there is fuel. A fuel pump NEEDS fuel to cool the pump, careful or you might damage it if it runs out of fuel.
