Solenoid N90 is in the valve body, you will have to remove the Transmission
oil pan to get to it. It will either be a problem with the solenoid or the ribbon
cable that it attaches to.

The Throttle valve issue may or may not be related.

Is this the A3 body style Golf or the A4 body style Golf?
