MY CAR DRIFTS LEFT WHEN STARTING OFF AND WHEN ACCELERATING IT DRIFTS RIGHT

1999 Volkswagen Bora • 87,000 miles

I have had 4 new tyers put on, all balanced and the track rod ends changed. All the tracking and alignment have been done.

Wheel alignment done and still drifts-the brake could be dragging or the camber/caster angle is not correct, binding steering gear or linkage, etc-

I'd say sounds like torque steer. Get it realigned. There is only very little adjustment for caster/camber, if 1 side is off they instruct you to split the difference and that's as good as it gets, even so, both sides can still be out. I have seen crappy alignments in my time. Sorry to say some people have no pride in their work.

Another thing, is the road your driving on flat? It's hard to find a road that is flat enough to be valid for testing. If it is sloped or grooved you may wanna try a level, smoother road.
