1999 Toyota Harrier
I have a 1999 Toyota Harrier that I have recently imported from Japan. Occassionally it will emit dense white smoke on start up only. Please can you advise what might be the possible problem and solution to this problem?

Such problem are usually due to worn valve seals. Engine oil level would tend to drop due to oil getting past the valve seals.
To solve the problem the valve seals would have to be replaced.
