Don't think it has anything to do w master cylinder because I can still brake. I think the knock is in the ABS system. I removed the ABS fuse from under the hood, behind the driver side headlight. The noise went away so the problem has to be w the ABS but I don't even know where it is or what to look for. Also where would you place a hydraulic floor jack under the car to jack up the front? Thanks for the help

You need to keep your replies to your first question you asked that way I get a email when you post your replies and I can keep track of what we talk about on your car. As far as your abs noise goes the part that would be making noise would be the modulator which is bolted to your master cylinder like I told you before. There are three motors on it with three gears and sometimes those gears come loose and make noise. There is a cover over those gears that is held in place by torx screws.
