Brake lights out
My 2 brake/tailights are out on Mercury sable 1999. Have only 1 top brake light left. Checked fuse they work,checked lights don't seem to be busted. Whats next?

That's likely a bad combination/turn signal switch. The 2 lower lights pass through the turn signal switch so the turn signals can cancel the brake lights when necessary.
