How do you reset the service engine light on a 1999 Lincoln Town Car?

NOTE : This vehicle is not equipped with an CHANGE OIL SOON or OIL CHANGE REQUIRED indicator.

It requires a code reader or scan tool to clear the computer memory. Of course if you haven't corrected the problem that put it on in the first place, it will just come back again.
