My 99 jeep cherokee sport straight 6 has sat for two years. In process of getting it on road again. Drope tank changed fuel pump/filter, new gas, changed oil/filter, new distributer/cap, new spark plugs. It wants to start but just wont do it. I have gas and I have spark. Dont know what else to do. Somebody I work with said it might be electronic ignition? Dont know. Another guy said it might be compression? Jeep ran when it was parked

Check fuses underhood then check compression on all cylinders. See what kind of spark you are getting at plug. Try spraying some choke cleaner into engine see if it will fire. Scan for codes

Is there a particular fuse or fuses I should check? Can you also tell me series of key turns to read codes on panel where mileage shows. Can't seem to find that anywhere on internet. None of them have worked. Thanks.

The fuses should be marked under hood for eng or ecm/ign. Check the fuses and asd relay I've pointed out. In pic and check the two in pic for instumnet cluster. You shold just get a scanner from auto parts, they rent them I think and get the codes then go to the site her look under repair OBD2 and find your problem.
