I can't locate any diagrams. The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. The fuel tank is secured with 2 straps. There are also 2 hoses for the fuel fill pipe. Loosen and remove the clamps securing the hoses to the fuel tank inlets.

Loosen the nuts on the tank straps. Place a jack with a piece of plywood or fiber board on it under the center of the tank and remove the strap nuts and bolts. Allow the straps to fall out of the way.

Slowly lower the jack with the tank on it, keeping the tank balanced. Reach on top of the tank and disconnect the pump power leads. Using a pair of pliers, squeeze the tabs on the hose clamp and disconnect the fuel line. Lower the tank to the ground.

Use a piece of wood to knock the lock ring counterclockwise to loosen it. Remove the lock ring and the pump. Installation is the reverse.

Your vehicle may be equipped with an inspection cover to access and remove the fuel pump. It'll be above the tank. If so, there's no need to remove the tank.

Our reference doesn't list an MPS relay. The fuel pressure regulator is located on the fuel rail.

Our reference doesn't show time, but I can typically do this kind of job in about an hour.
