Honda Accord Transmission Problem
What would cause transmission to work in1st and 2nd but not in D3. & D4?

valve body or internal failure. have someone check it to confirm

Could be a number of things, but first i would start with a scam of the transmission electrics, there may be a fault code there, possibly a shift valve solenoid problem.
