I have a 1999 Honda Accord 4cyl vtech that is overheating. I have alreay replaced the t-stat and radiator. properly purged air. top rad hose is very hot. bottom is cold/cool. I jumped the coolant switch near the thermostat housing and the fans will run. The car still overhearts with them running all the time. Enigne compression is 146-150 psi on all four cylinders. No present leaks. Engine runs smooth so I really dont think it is a head gasket. And the coolant does not bubble out the radiator with the cap off. Any ideas?

Next step is to troubleshoot the water pump if okay- block and pressure test it-could be a blockage within the engine-retest the thermostat/radiator

How do troubleshoot the water pump if it is not leaking? I took the top radiator hose off and started the engine. Is coolant supposed to come rushing out?
