1999 Holden Commodore Repair Question

Any major issues with ecotec 3.8 litre v6
Thinking seriously buying 2nd hand vs 2 executive sedan...wondering if there are any common issues with this engine that i should be aware of ? eg..oil seals...valve train... engine management etc etc ... any advice greatly appreciated ...thanks...

we have no info on this vehicle but if this is the same 3.8 as in the u.s. there arent' a lot of major issues with it. Holden of coure is GM of australia.

Rear main oil seals are a common problem, power steering rack leaks and inner tie rods, if a lot of Km's timing chain stretch,radius arm bushes need looking at often and if on gas valves hammer out with high km's as well
