Car overheats, fans wont turn on. Changed temp coolant sensor, but still overheats. I checked fans and they work fine, I disconnected the coolant temp sensor plug and fans went on.I could drive the car fine and it does not over heat but it wastes more gas. I also checked the low and high speed relays and the fans turn on but I have to turn the car off so they turn off. Can you please help me to resolve this problem.

First check to see if car is actually overheating by taking temp of coolant/hose with an infrared temp gauge if you have one. Then you'll have to have a pro see if signal is being sent to relay from ecm and or temp sender
