I have a 1999 Chev Suburban 4x4 350. Vehicle wouldn't run. Cranks but will not fire. Error code P1361. Replaced ICM. Code P1351 now appears(P1361 has not reappeared) Vehicle runs rough and then dies. Replaced vcm/pcm. No codes, but still runs rough and then dies. Replaced coil. Vehicle starts and dies immediately. Will not run at all.

Check the ICM grounding if okay-next time it dies-look for spark and fuel immediately-

Vehicle starts and dies immediately. Will not run at all. This one puzzles me with the ICM might be a bad connections-If theres a problem with ICM and wiring I don't think it will start at all-Check if it has a crankshaft positon sensor if it does inspect and test it-

Thanks for your response. Had originally removed air duct when changing ICM. Replaced coil and vcm/pcm while troubleshooting. Cleaning up for night - replaced air duct. Vehicle started and ran fine. Put old coil and vcm/pcm back on. Vehicle still ran fine. All troubleshooting tips never mentioned air duct had to be replaced for engine to run. TIP FOR DIY MECHANICS.
