My 1999 Chevrolet blazer 4wd. 4dr. 4.3l vehicle has code po452(evaporative emission system control sensor). Can it be checked without dropping the fuel tank? I have read online from another person's post that this could cause automatic transmission to not shift properly while driving. Is this all true?

This needs to be checked by a pro it doesn t effect your transmission but says vacuum isn't reading right in fuel tank. It cold be a bad vehicle control module or a short. But those are vin specific an dhave t be programmed into your vehicle. But it needs to be checked to see if pressure sensor is getting voltage and not a connection or wiring problem like a shorted wire.
