1999 Chevy Blazer Heater Fan

Fan blows for defroster and upper vents. When I turn it to bottom vents, stops then reverts to defroster vent.

There is a mode actuator and linkage on the left side of the HVAC housing and something is likely jamming. You can look from under the steering wheel and try to determine what is going wrong.
