A few months back, I noticed my car felt like it was hitting a small pothole or bump without all the up/down jerky motions of actually hitting something. It only happened once for a bit, and later on it has become more frequent. Now it happens once per trip I make, generally over 45 mph. When it happens, I hear a pop or thump sound and feel it shake the vehicle originating near one of the wheels. I've asked around a little bit and am lead to believe it may be pressure in the transmission. Any help is much appreciated.

It is so hard to diagnose an issue like this online, I would suggest that you take it to a shop and have the front end checked out first to make sure your safe. Take a mechanic for a ride and show them what you are dealing with.
