Was the loss of spark there before the head replacement? Does it always have no spark on one and four?Or when it warms up this happens?

Have you tried swapping the coils to see if the no spark issue follows the coil?

Yes I am here but no one on this site is fully time with any set hrs there here constantly. We juggle answering questions between work etc. So if you don't get quick reply doesnt mean we forgot about you.I am trying to make sense of the coil wiring. When it doesn't spark make sure the black wire with a orange stripe has a good ground to that coil that's not sparking. Also make sure all the terminals to the connector are tight.I believe the black wire with a white stripe would have power with the key in the run position. Also the brown wire with a white stripe would be the coil trigger and the brown wire with a yellow stripe would be the other coils trigger to spark. We have to see what were missing when there is no spark? Since we ruled out the coil we have to see what were missing.

Ok ty. Yes he tried all that. So yes thats where we are right now. Still not working.
Do you think it could have anything to do with the crank position sensor or cam position sensor? Or possibly computer? Mostly guess work on this side. Need your help please.

If all that's good you should have spark you ruled out the coil already. If the computer was bad the inputs into the coil wouldnt be good. Also if you had a bad sensor the other coil wouldnt spark ether. Something doesn't add up here if all the inputs are good connections tight etc. The only thing left is the coil which you said was ruled out. So I am stumped also.

It just doesn't make sense period you said everything works wire inputs pulsing ground terminal tighteness etc. You should have spark if everything is working like you said. Its also weird you have spark while cranking abut not while its running.

Hes still trying. But nothing working. Not only not firing on 1 and 4 of the coil. It doesnt have an injector pulse. Maybe that will help you to think of anything else please.

Ok. Another question please?

The head came off a car where 1 and 2 spark plugs share a coil. And 3 and 4 share a coil.
The junkyard said. They are the same from 96-02.
Does that sound right?
Or could this be a wrong head for this car?

Found out the tooth was broke off timing gear. When replaced car started just fine, runs fine. But say after 20 mins of driving, car will just shut down. But after its cooled it will start a run fine until it gets warm again. Any idea what this could be?
Thank-you
