I have a subaru straight shift 1998 when u turn sharp the transmission binds if it was an automatic it would b transfer clutches any suggestions

CHECK TRANSMISSION OIL LEVEL AND ALSO THAT IT HAS THE CORRECT TYPE OF OIL ADDED.

Presuming the binding problem is at the front end... Confirm that it's not the outer CV joint causing the bind or resistance to turning. Jack it up with all four wheels off the ground and rotate each wheel separately and listen for noise at joint or differentials. Turn front wheels all the way to either side and repeat to isolate it.
