Shakes or Wobbles problem
2000 Subaru Outback All Wheel Drive Automatic 179000 miles

Hello my 2000 subaru outback wagon for the past couple months has began shaking when accelerating it is not coming from the steering wheel it seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle, and at all speeds, the harder the acceleration the harder the shake. I have taken it to several garages and no one seems to know I had the plugs and wires changed, fuel filter. Last year I had the front end replaced due to a bad cv boot, the things I hear are bad tires, need a transmission flush and new filter(?) But these are just guess>>>>any ideas?

Do you feel the shake in the steering wheel, or more in the seat and the floor? From your description, it sounds like an axle joint. Does it make any difference whether you're turning sharp to the left or right?

There is no shaking in the steering wheel and it makes no difference if im turning left or right it only happens with hard acceleration if im just driving along and progressing at a slow increase of speed its fine however if I really get on the gas a little it starts shaking the front end. I had the whole front end replaced last year. Thanks

It really sounds like a front axle joint. Possibly inboard, which would be rare.

When you say, "new frontend" obviously, I don't know what all they replaced. But, being it's under warranty, I would surely have it checked out.
