1998 Opel Astra not starting

Hi I have an Opel Astra Euro 1.6i 1998 and the car won't start. I have tested the starter but it is not the starter, it injects fuel, the spark plugs create sparks but the car just doesn't want to start. What may the problem be?

If you have spark and fuel to the engine, it should run. Have you checked things like the timing belt? Have you checked to see if there is power to the injectors?

Try this. See if the engine will start for a couple seconds using starting fluid. Do that and let me know what you find.
