The fuel gauge on truck is not showing how much fuel I have. It indicates its full when I know it is not. Could it be the sending unit or the gauge itself? Is there an easy way to test this? Thanks.

Im sorry, but i'm a real novice. Whats the easiest way to get access to the gauge so I can wire it to the tank? Also, from what part of the gauge do I connect the wire too? Thanks
