When I start my car my heat/AC will run only at the highest setting. After a short time running though it will shut off. Randomly it comes back. Sometimes it might be because of hitting a bump or my passenger door being shut really hard. It only comes on when I haven't started my car for awhile. If I start it and drive it for a little it won't come on. I am thinking it is my blower motor. Would it be the motor or the resistor of are both of those the same thing?

Sounds like the blower motor to me. When the problem is ongoing if you have good voltage and ground at the blower connector with no blower action, suspect the blower motor.
