I have a 1998 jeep grand cherokee, my blower motor on my ac quit working and i believe it is not getting power. i used a volt meter thing on the main power connection to motor and it says no power, checked the engine compartment fuse box and the fuse is good- i jammed the pointers of the meter into the fuse connection box and it didnt do anything.. question: what can i do to get AC??!!
Check fuse #7 underhood box also maybe blower relay or fan switch
Fan switch? do you mean the oneon the dashboard?
Just checked compressor working fine, lines cold. how do i check the switch on the dash. i have it hanging out of dash now.
Have checked fuse #7 blower motor is hot all the time switch provides ground
I checked all fuses under hood. #7 gets no power, but fuse still good.
Checking in power distribution chenter? using a meter? do not check across fuse ground to body then test. Fues is direct feed from battery
Gotcha. I have everything hanging out, and am getting frustrated. lol It is only 106 in my garage. im giving up for the day. Thank you for your assistance. I will probably be back tomorrow.
O.K. heat and frustration don't mix
