1998 Isuzu Amigo Repair Question
How do you remove steering wheel to repair horn button? Vehicle is equiped with air bags.

normally i dont' eccomend diy'er sdoing this but here is instrucitons.STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD
CAUTION: Applying excessive pressure or causing impact to the column/shaft assembly during removal or installation procedures may cause assembly to collapse.
Removal & Installation (Hombre)
1. Remove driver's side air bag. See DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. Disconnect horn lead. Remove steering wheel nut. Remove horn plunger contact.
2. Ensure wheels are in straight ahead position. Mark steering wheel and shaft for installation reference. Using Puller (J 1859 A and J 42578), pull steering wheel from shaft. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Tighten steering wheel nut to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Removal & Installation (Amigo, Rodeo & Trooper)
1. Ensure wheels are in straight ahead position. Remove driver's side air bag. See DRIVER'S SIDE AIR BAG. Disconnect horn lead. Remove steering wheel nut.
2. Mark steering wheel and shaft for installation reference. Using Puller (J 29752), pull steering wheel from shaft. Feed wiring through wheel and remove steering wheel. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten
steering wheel nut to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . 25 ft.lobs on steering wheel nut.
