My 98 honda civic lx is hard to start ( takes awhile) but when it starts it runs good. What could it be?

Hello,

Ok, try this.

Turn key to ON Position, Do Not Start, then back Off do this about 3 - 4 times then try starting vehicle. If starts normally then you have a fuel pressure problem. Possibly a weak fuel pump.

Also when was last tune-up - Plugs, Wires, Cap & Rotor?
