Ford Explorer Engine Problem

THE REAR ENGINE SEAL HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE THE SECOND TIME GARAGE INSTALLED A SLEEVE W/ SEAL... STILL LEAKING OIL AT ENGINE TRANSMISSION UNION.
SOMETHING I AM MISSING HERE.... GARAGE TOLD ME CRANK IS WORKING SEAL OUT ...RUNS FINE

If there is excessive play in the rear main, it can cause the seal to fail.

thanks....but what would i be noticing ...engine runs fine,
power, no extra oil use.....oil does not show up in exhaust fumes .(white cloth @ tailpipe).
no vibrations
