OK, truck ran fine when I bought it four days ago, now when I try to start it, I have to hold gas pedal to the floor. When it finally starts it idles extremely rough. I can give it some gas and will run up to 1800 - 2000 rpm's and smooth out but if I give it anymore gas the engine will bog down and try to stall. I checked all plugs, plug wires. Please help me! Someone said check the iac valve but I didnt think it would affect the engine at 2000 rpm's and cause it to bog down. What should I do?

I will answer my own question, hopefully it helps someone. It was the catalytic converter. I cut mine off and even with the o2 sensor not reading it ran a million times better.
