The fans were not turning on to cool the radiator. I payed an at home mechanic some money to fix the problem. He said it just needed a small part, so I bought the part. When he put the new part on, not sure exactly what it was, the fans still did not come on. He said it was a short possibly. Then, he said he could bypass it, and he wired the fans straight to the battery and then into the ignition. He said that then when I turned the car on, the fans would come on. They did come on, but then my lights wouldn't turn on. Then he messed with the fuse box, and somehow got the lights back on. He said the car was wired weird and that all the fuses seemed to be good, and maybe something was wrong with the fuse box. After he got the lights on, the car wouldn't start! He is now trying to charge me more money to "fix" the vehicle. He says there are many problems with the vehicle, and the battery died while he was working on it the next day, so he had to re charge it over night to try again the next day to fix all these problems. Please help!

first thing go to a different garage and get away from that hack. have a real pro check this out and fix it correctly if it's a bad wire it can be fixed. the way I t is now isnot the way it should work an dhas no protection so it could burn your harness up or set the car on fire.
