Car is running hot and I'm unsure why. I have a new water pump. Thermostat. And radiator fans. Radiator too. When at idle like at a drive through the temp goes to hot after a while

How hot does the engine get in degrees F? Does the radiator fan turn on? Maybe there is air in the system? Is there an air bleed for the cooling system?

Getting hot at idle, is this a recent issue?

I'd want to check engine temp w/o using the dash gage.

The low speed fan comes on at 230 degrees F. The high speed fan at 235F. If the temp drops about 10 degrees for either, it will shut the fan off, according to our info.

If you turn on the ac, the fan/s should turn on quicker. When the vehicle seems to be overheating, are the fan/s running?
